My favorite #SundayFunday spots in Charleston

If you are looking for an opportunity to be able to extend your weekend (and hangover) while also having a chance to enjoy some great food; then a Sunday in Charleston is the spot to be. #SundayFunday has develop into a lifestyle for old, new, and future Charlestonians. For anyone that hasn't had a chance to enjoy one of these lovely days or looking for some new spots; here is my list of a few places that I enjoy to go myself to let loose!

1) Bay Street Biergarten

The Biergarten (as the locals call it) has adopted Sunday Funday more than any other place. Their themed Brunch parties rather its PJs, Britney Spears, or Harry Potter; either way its going to be a great time. Popular DJ Natty Heavy brings music in addition to a great outdoor patio and TVs everrrrywhere for my sports fans (It is football season btw).

2)Republic

Boosting probably the best sound system in the city, they take Young Joc's "Here Me Coming" to a new level (I see ya A$AP Ferg). If you looking to burn some calories by shaking your booty, this is the spot to be. With an amazing covered outdoor patio, this is the prime spot to continue your Saturday night fever.

3) The Shelter Kitchen and Bar

Great popular spot in the Shem Creek area of Mt Pleasant. If your're looking to start your morning with an amazing Bloody Mary or Mimosa with live music then this is the spot to be.

4) Charleston Pour House

If you truly want a concert theme place in addition to opportunity to shop for local art. The Pour House offers both with possible boutique popups offered in their back patio while live band is playing on the inside stage. Not a bad two for one.

5) The Alley

Quick shout out to my man Chief! The Alley has what I call the ultimate trifecta in booze/food/bowling along with two large projectors and multiple tvs at the bar. Great stop for a more chill Sunday.

6) Cocktail Club

The Cocktail Club is what I call as a great night cap for anyone who isn't ready to quite face that monster we call Monday. A very intimate setting on the interior with amazing band usually playing and a great outside patio to relax and chill if needed.
